DocRKS Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I Love this time of the year - not just because of the anticipation of special boxes of Habana cigars under the Tree - but also because of the Annual and Special Releases of some of my favorite Kentucky Straight Bourbons... In the last few days, I have procurred Bottles of : Pappy Van Winkle 15 year, George T. Stagg Barel Proof (both the 144.8 PROOF as well as the 130.9 Proof) Uncut/Unfiltered Eagle Rare 17 Year, William Larue Weller (Uncut/Unfiltered) Parker's Heritage (129.6 Proof) Initial Release and 23 Year 2008 Release and a flight of 3 Willett Bourbons - the 16 Year (124.3 Proof - 150 Bottles Made) the 7 Year (121.4 Proof - 186 Bottles Made) and the 6 Year Release (124.3 Proof - 150 Bottles Made). I am planning on sampling the Willetts Flight of 3 coupled with a Cohiba 35th Anny Robusto as an integral part of my Christmas Day celebration..... That's What I'm Calling a Very Happy and Merry Christmas!!! and so I wish to all here at the FOH Forum!
Don Candido Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Happy Chanukah Doc RKS, Those all sound fun. Further I have not tried any of them. If you find yourself wanting something else ...try Hirsch Bourbon (any year you can find) should be tasty. Cheers, DC
