I received this cigar as a gift at the CA/FoH Atlanta Mini-Herf last month.

It is a beautiful stick, tawny, almost silky smooth and very well made.

Pre-light, the draw is firm, but not overly so. The taste is on the edge of sweet.

The initial flavors are light cedar and a hint of sweet spice. The smoke is plentiful and aromatic.

This is a medium bodied smoke, with flavors that run from light cedar to leather and spice and back. It developed nicely, moving towards an earthier, richer profile in the last third. There is a consistent touch of sweet spice - something akin to allspice - that played hide-and-seek with my senses for the first two-thirds, before fading into the background.

At the halfway point, the draw opened up and remained near-perfect for the balance of the smoke.

I did experience some minor burn issues (which I blame on a stiff breeze), but I only needed to do a single touch-up.

I paired this smoke with iced tea, and it was an excellent match.
