herfkid Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 With the new baby around, there's not much time to slip outside to enjoy a cigar, but I managed to work in a bit of time this weekend. Selected a San Cristobal de la Habana El Principe, and hit the porch. Now, it was raining rather a lot, so the humidity kind of messed with the burn, but other than that .... wonderful! I've had this cigar a few times before, but this was undoubtedly the best one yet; partially because I know more about what I'm looking for, flavor-wise, but also because my storage situation is far better now. Got the full experience of rich bittersweet cocoa, coffee-bean notes, and a tinge of honey. Now hopefully I can squeeze in a few more before the freezing begins...
wasch_24 Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Cool man! I have number two coming any day now and wil likely be relegated to only smoking during my morning commute.
Mel Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 » Congratulations on the new baby. It will get better. Eventually they can fetch your lighter and cutter.
GoatLocker Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Congrats on finding enough time to enjoy a cigar! Love the El Principes. I think it's the only cigar I ever tasted cinammon in. Great short smoke.
jay8354 Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Congradulations... Hope you have enough time to still smoke more cigars
Phailure Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Congrats! Better start looking for more minutos you like. Good luck with everything.
