strayvector Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Check out these fakes on eBay. It really pisses me off when stupid people fall for scams and when they realize it, try to scam others so that they don't have to pay for their mistakes. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Hopefully eBay will pull them for violating ebay policies. I hate scammers.
skid11 Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Good one stray, I check out eBay on a regular basis and it always amazes me too, how many dodgy items are going up for sale. I had a laugh at your second link the photo of the "cohibas" looks like hot dog sausages vacuumed sealed in a plastic wrap ! Mind you on the positive side of eBay some of the old antique cigar accessories can be very interesting.:-)

I usually email Ebay with the lot # and its taken care of. Not ashamed to admit that when I 1st started smokeing Cuban cigars way back when........That I was another victom of the Ebay fakes, but mine actually tasted good.
jay8354 Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 That a good reason to be on good terms with a trusted vendor. The Vendor will let you know what to look for and ensure that you only get the genuine goods. The second link is a laugh though.
Phailure Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Nothing like some quality glass top fauxhibas... mmm ;-)
strayvector Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 » Nothing like some quality glass top fauxhibas... mmm ;-) Looks like ebay moves pretty fast on things like this. Glad to see that the items have been yanked.
