I recall a few years ago running across an ad (I do not remember where or what I was reading that the time). In any case this ad talked about a cigar journal.

The purpose of course, was to log your musings regarding a cigar smoked. The journal (I believe) had the ability to attach the ring band of your stick, along with an area to rate the smoke, and another area to to talk about where you were and what you were doing at the time.

Unfortunately, I did not get one at the time. I am now reconsidering this idea. I do not keep a personal journal but I thought it might be nice to keep track of what cigars I have tried, how I felt about it at the time, and also where I was. I thought after a few years, if nothing else, it may lead to some interesting quips for my son to read when he is of age and decideds to carry on the torch of cigar smoking (not to mention jog my memory about truly spectacular smokes along the way).

For me I have found that although the quality of cigars is important, even "average" smokes turn out delightful based on the ambiance of the area.

I have done a bit of net searching and many people offer a wide variety of journals (most seem to be a shamless plug for a sales area).

Essentially, I was wondering if anyone keeps a Cigar Journal and could recommend a good one.
