ArloGut Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Good Morning All I am sure that this has been asked several times, here is the deal my hummi has dropped below 60% and it seems that my cigars have become dry. How can I revive them? Thanks Arlo
56Tweed Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 I guess the real question is, how long have they been below 60% and what are they at now (40, 50, 59%)? If they were low for a short time then the long term impact should be minimal. I would raise the humidity slowly, a few % a day until they get back to your target number.

Add a little water to your current humidifier....a little....and leave for a few days. Add a little more in three days. Don't flood the unit to begin with.
ArloGut Posted May 26, 2008 Author Posted May 26, 2008 Thanks Tweed & Rob I think I didn't clearify the "dry part" my RH went down to 55% and my smokes looked a little brittle. I have it back up to 62% now and all seems to be back in check. 55% is probally not a big deal but I like to be particular on the RH/Temp. on my babies. Thanks for the help, guess I need to get a bigger Humi so I can fill-er-up.
