guilow Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Hi All, I joined over a month ago but haven't yet posted. I now see that 'specials' are contingent upon 'post count', so I guess it's time I get started. I was a non-cuban cigar smoker up until about a year ago when I made my full scale conversion to cuban cigars. I've been enjoying fine cubans ever since, and have never looked back. Looks like there is a lot of great information on this forum, and I'm looking forward to participation. Oh...I'm a diehard Minnesota Vikings football fan. That's been a bit painful lately.... Alan

Mikey Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Welcome to the Forum. My brother is a Minnesota fan also, and I never let him forget it! Cheers!
gehrig24 Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Nice to have you, what part of CO do you live? I lived in the Denver area for about five years and loved every minute of it. Although not a Vikings fan I live in MN and work right next to the practice facility. I am sure I will be seeing a new coach pulling up in the next few weeks if they do not start winning.

smk819 Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 I lived in Evergreen before I moved to WA. Just off of Stagecoach Rd. (Blvd)if you know where that is. I was at 7780 ft. I do miss Evergreen. Say hello to the Little Bear for me.

Is it Evergreen that has the golf course that you ring the bell because it is a blind shot? That is beautiful area up there. Any problems keeping humidity in the thin air?

No problems keeping the cigars at the proper RH in my Aristocrat - but they can actually dry out when you smoke them in the winter since the humidity gets into the single digits.

cf2112 Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Welcome to FOH, at least you're not a Bronco's fan:-)
CIGARHead Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Welcome bro. Great bunch here. Some advice...when reading Ken Gargett's reviews, one needs to be very inebriated to halfway understand the mumblings of "human sweat" and "meatstock" when he describes a cigar.
