dolly Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Hi Guys, Yesterday, I came across a box of 1975 Dunhill mont 3. The cigars were in very good condition, but the box was very expensive. He said a client purchased 2 boxes and were very good. I have never had any of those. Have any of you guys out there tried it? If so, would you spent the premium for it or pick something else? Thanks Dolly

I've had some Montes from the 70s that were excellent and they were not a Dunhill selection.

The consensus was that it was not worth the premium and I agreed. Again this was only one example. I have seen the 75 #3 that was not stored at Dunhill for a little less money.

GTS21 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Are these regular 1975 Monte #3s that were originally sold by the Dunhill store in the UK and bear the Dunhill stamps on the box, or are these Montecristo Dunhill Seleccion Suprema??? Big difference in price between these. If these are the former, being sold by a well known UK cigar merchant, they are EXCELLENT.
