Montecristo Dunhill 1975

Hi Guys,

Yesterday, I came across a box of 1975 Dunhill mont 3. The cigars were in very good condition, but the box was very expensive. He said a client purchased 2 boxes and were very good. I have never had any of those. Have any of you guys out there tried it? If so, would you spent the premium for it or pick something else?

I personally have not had one, but most people believe the difference b/w the regular Monte's and Dunhill Monte's isn't worth the premium price they (dunhills) command. I've had some Montes from the 70s that were excellent and they were not a Dunhill selection.

I smoked some of one the other day while herfing with some buddies. The consensus was that it was not worth the premium and I agreed. Again this was only one example. I have seen the 75 #3 that was not stored at Dunhill for a little less money.

Are these regular 1975 Monte #3s that were originally sold by the Dunhill store in the UK and bear the Dunhill stamps on the box, or are these Montecristo Dunhill Seleccion Suprema??? Big difference in price between these. If these are the former, being sold by a well known UK cigar merchant, they are EXCELLENT.
