Colt45 Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 There is a blurb on CA's site which states that Altadis shareholders have agreed to Imperial's offer. It looks like the takeover is near completion. But, in an article from October '07 I read elsewhere, there still seemed to be no agreement on the "change of control clause", regarding the fifty percent stake in Habanos S.A, with the Cuban government. Does anyone have any more info?

Done deal I understand re Havana. Key people are not changing from Altadis side. Will follow up.
