So how does one "purge" through the nose?

I think he may be referring to "nose smoking" as it's sometimes called.

Simply blowing a little smoke through your nasal cavity

I've always taken him to simply mean exhale through the nose.

Either that, or he likes to stick cigars up his nostrils......

Take care to not inhale, while compressing the oral cavity exhale through the nose. Warning may burn and casue watering eyes if you are not used to it. Some aggresive cigars will do this even to the experienced. Good luck.

Simply exhaling through the nasal cavitiy. It provides a different appreciation of a cigar, often bringing out nuances which are not there on the palate.

I have always admired Senior Clintons leaf experiments. Im many ways I believe he has inspried me to conduct many of my own. Unfortunately, I have found willing helpers here in shorter supply than the Whitehouse.
