Bruin Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Anyone know the difference between the 2 types of Bolivar Belicoso Finos? It seems one is in a dress box and the other a cabinet (SLB?). What is the distinction, if any? Are the cigars the same and just the packaging different. Thanks for your help.
Colt45 Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 The cigars will be the same. There was a time, some say, that the nicest looking cigars were used for the "cabinet selection" (slb). Also, pre 2004, most cigars in cabs would not have had bands. You can expect varying degrees of box press in a dress box, with no press from a cabinet. Also, many feel cigars age better in a cab vs. a dress box.
El Presidente Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 It has been a while since I have seen a dress box of BBF. Same cigars.....but BBF just don't look right outside of a SLB cab ;-)
aavkk Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 my early 07's are a DB and I wish I had a SLB. At least they are great smokes:)
