The request for the Distributor Night will be in force until Wednesday February 27th, 2008, 12.00m. After this time, we’ll proceed with “last minute” sale, of those requests not previously paid.

The request for the Farewell Night will be in force until Thursday February 29th, 2008, 12.00 m. After this time, we’ll proceed with “last minute” sale, of those requests not previously paid.

Payment policy:

According to the provision for currency exchange issued by Banco Nacional de Cuba, in force in the Republic of Cuba, the payment policy for the 9th Habanos Festival will be as follow:

1-Cash Payments: They will only be accepted in CUC (Convertible Cuban pesos)

2- Bank transfers: They will only be accepted in EUROS, at the exchange rate in force on the 30th day of the month before that in which the bank transfer is issued, taking as a reference the European Central Bank. In all cases, this value will be given by Habanos S.A. (deadline for bank transfer February 11, 2007).

3- Debits (Discounts) due to bank transfers will be borne in each case by the Party proceeding payment thereof. Habanos S.A will not assume discounts by bank transfers of the issuing bank and must receive the complete payment (without bank discounts) of the activity that has been bought or of the full package, as the case may be.

4- Participants from United States of America will have two choices for cash payments; as follows:

a) On their arrival in Cuba, the USD dollars must be exchanged to CUC (convertible Cuban pesos).

They could acquire Euros in their country and exchange them for CUC on their arrival in Cuba.

5-Payments through Credit Cards

Payments through credit cards backed by American banks or their branches will not be accepted. Credit cards will only be accepted: VISA, Master Card, CABAL, TRAVEL CARD, DELIVERY CARD, BF, RED AND SERCUBA.

6- Credit Cards supported by Northamerican Banks will not be accepted.

Trade Fair:

The 10th Trade Fair will be held parallel to the Seminar as an inseparable part of the Festival being the ideal moment for technical and trade exchanges among businessmen, manufacturers and suppliers.

In spaces rented by an enterprise, country or organization, the entrepreneurs, craftsmen, artists, traders, manufacturers or companies may exhibit and sell the following goods:

 Articles for smokers

 Luxury articles

 Gourmets Products

Prices of the stands at the Trade Fair:

- Modular stand: $130 CUC x m2 (minimum space: 9 m2)

- Indoor space: $100.00 CUC x m2 (minimum space: 9 m2)

- Hiring of assistant for the stand mounting: US$15.00 per hour

The opening ceremony will take place on Monday, February 25th, 2008, at 14:00 hrs and it will be open from February 26th to February 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 17.00 hrs and on February 29th until 12:00 m.

Exhibitors will be allowed to sell their goods to the public at the Trade Fair. They will also be able to carry out promotional activities with the prior coordination with the Organizing Committee.

Exhibitors will pay the Conference Center a 20% commission of the gross incomes obtained from the sales. The design of the exhibiting firms’ stands must show its direct or indirect relationship with the cigar products.

EXHIBITORS CATALOG:

All companies participating in the Fair will be included in the Exhibitors Catalog. Therefore, the data and the logotype of the participating companies or enterprises, as well as the list of items, products or brands to be exhibited must be sent before January 10th 2008.

Inclusion in the Exhibitors Catalog will be totally free up to 10 lines. 5 (five) CUC will be charged for every additional line. Neither Habanos SA nor the Conference Center will be responsible for the incorporation of the corporate data of the exhibiting firms in the Catalog if they are sent in after the aforementioned deadline. The advertisements in the Catalog will be charged in accordance with the rates established for each case.
