txcigarmadcap Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I just received a box of Jose Piedra Nacionales from 06, they are great BTW; however, I am looking to expand my knowledge and collection and need some advice. I prefer lonsdale to petit coronas and I like full flavor and lots of spice, I usually accompany a cigar with a Stout or a fine Single Malt. Any suggestions and/or advice would be most welcome.
Claudius Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Small, full-flavored and spicy? If you dont mind very reasonably priced ;-) , try the fantastic Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas. Lonsdales? The Partagas were awesome, but they have stopped making them. Bolivars are good and strong, but not spicy.
Colt45 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Off the top of my head, might I suggest the Bolivar Petit Corona for a pc, and the Partagas Serie du Connaisseur line in the lonsdale range.

The RASS (Ramon Allones Specially Selected) are excellent robustos. Very spicy, but not that strong. The RASCC I mentioned are sort of a RASS concentrate, smaller, spicier and stronger. The downside is that when you smoke one of those, after that all the other cigars taste like hay :-D
ksblazer Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I would suggest Partagas 898 varnished or maybe a Trinni Coloniales.
