Colt45 Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Dry, melon fruit, with lighter citrus overtones. A doughy mouthfeel, with a lightly astringent finish. I'm admittedly a fan of prosecco (and Italian wines in general), and I find this one to be quite delicious. I've also had very good luck with the offerings of Carpene Malvolti. To be quite honest, at just under $20 U.S, I'll take these any day over most NV Champagnes that are over twice the price. To be fair, there are a number of inexpensive proseccos that I have not tried and have no opinion on.
CelticBasque Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Proseccos are a good change of pace and definitely right on the money. However, I constantly find myself going back to Cava...
