Is there anything here that you do not recommend I get? I saw in your post up top, that you had not yet smoked the Montecristo No.2, yet you are ordering three (3) more. May I ask why? I love this cigar and certainly think it needs to be in one's humidor, but if you haven't smoked it yet, and already have two, why buy more? I would suggest a couple to try at some point: Cohiba Lancero Montecristo Especial No.1 Partagas SdC No.1 These are wonderful cigars, although a bit expensive. I believe you are doing the right thing by sampling as many cigars as possible. Good luck and keep us posted.

Everything I've read is fairly positive toward them so I thought I'd pick up a few extra. Thats all. Maybe a silly move, but I can always gift them. ;-) I just placed my order. I ordered the following: SAINT LUIS REY SERIE A Saint Luis Rey Double Corona H.UPMANN CONNOISSEUR NO.1 DIPLOMATICOS NO.4 REY DEL MUNDO LUNCH CLUB REY DEL MUNDO CHOIX SUPREME VEGAS ROBAINA FAMOSOS MONTECRISTO NO.4 VEGAS ROBAINA UNICOS UPMANN NO.2 DIPLOMATICOS NO.2 COHIBA ROBUSTOS MONTECRISTO NO.2 BOLIVAR CORONAS GIGANTES LA GLORIA CUBANA TAINOS Thanks all! Cam
the hoyo epicure number 2 is a wonderful cigar, perhaps the unsurpassed robusto, in my opinion, the '98 cabinet was amazing!

Mel you absolutely right. Funny. Cigars are like burning money. :-) I'm thankful that I have a little to burn... Yeah, if I can build up a little stash it'll make it easier. My last order had 52 smokes in it (i think) so I should (finally) get something to last more than a month. :-D Ether..
Mel
You da man bro. My begining was exactly like yours, getting an assortment and was the wayh to go for me. My first "whole box" was the Bolivar PC. I would have died if I had to buy a box of double coronas but it's not a biggie now.

Maybe a silly move, but I can always » gift them. ;-) It's late and I'm up so what a better time for a smoke? I've been wondering about the Monte #2 since I got it (been 2+ weeks). So I snipped the cap off of one and tore into it. I'm in the 1st Third at this time and I have to say that my experience is in par with my experience with the Monte #4. Draw is phenomenal, tons of smoke on the mouth, smooth, creamy. Theres the slightest hint of spice. Perfect. I did have to doctor the burn a little but I'm assuming it's because I didn't light it correctly. The wind was blowing so I didn't get the light I was after. This morning I opened up with a PSD3. I don't recall ever smoking a panetela vitola. Mine was slightly bent. It had a serious draw issue, was hard as heck. I kept massaging the area below the cap (where it felt tight). Finally loosened it up to the point where it was bearable but just barely. It was a real nice smoke though. Spice and tobacco was what came to mind. I let it go out twice because I got distracted. I hate relighting a cigar, it seems to make it bitter, or maybe thats just my fear. The draw issue seemed to return several times but I persevered. Would I buy more? absolutely. With the right draw I would have enjoyed it much more.. I can say that stogie had a serious punch, my head was spinning afterward. I'm in the 2nd thrid of the Monte #2. It's still very nice. I want more MORE MORE!! Muwhahahahaaaaa *evil laugh* Darn you Lisa and your Torpedo Special! ;-) I'm about 40-50 singles away from filling my Humi. This is going to be bad.. :-D happy happy happy. jakebarnes
Suggestions to get: Partagas 898v- The 06's are absolutely fantastic. RASS- Only if you have a little bit of patience, but it also depends on if you like them young, so i guess that is something to find out in itself RyJ Cedros #3- I really like this mareva and an interesting change of pace from the Monte #4. Though I don't have much experience with them, i say take the advice of genevapics and go with a smaller ring gauge cigar like the SdC or the Monte Especial #1 or the La Gloria Medialle de Oro series. This will at least give you that broad range you were looking for. most of all: let everything rest properly after it arrives. I know its exciting when the new stuff arrives, but I learned personally that the wait makes it much more worth the while. Oh yeah, and enjoy it!
