Stores in Spain

Going to Spain for a week, are there any good, or excellent stores,habanos authorised, alot of fake hitting europe, want to do some touchy feely before my order to roberto.

Greetings. Since the introduction last year of the law to control tobacco consumption, the only place you can legally buy tobacco products is in the state-controlled shops. These have a sign with a yellow "T" and are called estancos. There are 672 of these in the city of Madrid alone!

Prices are set by the Tobacco Market Commission and are the same everywhere. They can be seen on their website at www.cmtabacos.es.

All of the shops have some Habanos but the conditions under which they are kept vary widely.

The most impressive selection and humidor conditions I have seen are in the shop at Calle Cardenal Cisneros, 17 in Madrid.

Well, youll be OK in Barcelona since it's not really Spain at all! Why ask about shops if all you are going to do is touch? Go and touch some really expensive Habanos at Dunhill's...

Well obviously im not jsut going to touch, and I already have dunhills, I want some ELs, thankyou for your thoughts anyway.

What's not to like about Spain? Your somehow ruining our foreplay here, since I've got 50% Spanish blood in my vains. :-D

Gimeno, Ramblas No. 100 - everybody knows this shop, I personally don't really think they do a good job there.

l'estanc D'LAIETANA, Via Laietana 4 - nice, and even nicer if you get a glimpse at their cellar, where they have lots of boxes.

La cava de cigars, rosello 232 - my personal favourite and funny enough never mentioned anywhere... good selection in a good humidor (beware, some of the shops do not take good humidification that seriously).

Duty free at the airport - sometimes you get lucky and find something nice there!

i have purchased a few boxes here , and was pleased..... it was several years ago , however ...
