Id like to know the same thing. 4-7 cigars a day everyday and the wife wants nowhere to be near me.
cvm4 Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 LMK when you find one...So far nothing cures the dog breath but time ;-)
Phailure Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 » Not that I have ever encountered a successfull one....but does anyone have » the ultimate Cigar Mask? » » My mother still doesn't know I smoke cigars. I've heard tongue scrapers help alot. I usually just brush my teeth/tongue though usually it doesnt get rid of the taste completely. Drinking some soda like sprite seems to help a little as well.
CIGARHead Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 » Not that I have ever encountered a successfull one....but does anyone have » the ultimate Cigar Mask? » » My mother still doesn't know I smoke cigars. I find nothing wrong with my cigar breath...and neither does my dog:lookaround:
ilikecigars Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 those breath mint strips seems to help, just keep melting them on your tounge. it takes a few too get the job done. however getting the smell off the cloths and hair is another story.
El Presidente Posted August 29, 2005 Author Posted August 29, 2005 Prince. Is Altoids some sort of haemorrhoid cream?
habanohal Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 » Prince. » » Is Altoids some sort of haemorrhoid cream? Very popular mints here in the states

Freefallguy Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Chewing a handful of fresh parsley works wonders... and Altoids aren't just for breath fresheners! :-D
herfkid Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 » My mother still doesn't know I smoke cigars. Yours too?!!? One suggestion I saw over on CW last year was peanut butter. Tried that a few times, and it did indeed seem to absorb a certain amount of the lingering bad breath. But not all. :-|
ilikecigars Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 and Altoids aren't just for breath fresheners! :-D and neither are pop rocks...
El Presidente Posted August 31, 2005 Author Posted August 31, 2005 My mother still thinks I am a Corporate Banker
ChrisCohiba Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 » Not that I have ever encountered a successfull one....but does anyone have » the ultimate Cigar Mask? » » My mother still doesn't know I smoke cigars. I eat an green apple after a cigar... This was suggested to me by a fellow cigar smoker, and believe it or not - it works! My wife can barely tell that I have smoked a cigar! Give it a try and let me know if it works for you too!

Ditto on the clothes - a generous splash of cologne or going naked? Word of caution on breath strips - I read that the antibacterial type should not be used to excess (only two or three per day) - you could be doing more harm (to your body) than good. Mints or none antibacterial strips can be used more generously.
Curmudgeon Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 If I'm going to make a run at my wife, I usually avoid smoking that evening. If I want both my wife and a cigar, a shower, a shave, and a good mouthful of listerine befroe bed seems to make me bearable.
jjisaacson Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 altoids gum... very powerful and long lasting... cleans the teeth and palate too!
TR Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 i agree the scraper is the best....i tried peanut butter, but it only made me hungry for a sandwitch......:-D
