El Presidente Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 » Farmhouse cigars. What is the story on these? Thanks in advance for any » help! Initially a limited Edition run of 100 from memory. Then some jackarse at Habanos s.a authorised the production of siteloads more to not only flood the market, affect the credibility of the Edicion Limitada concept but seriously upset those connoisseurs who purchased the original release. Still plenty of Trinidad farmhouses to be found in Havana Divans.

Smokin Bulldog Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 And how were the cigars? Anything special? From my limited experience Trinis are usually good anyway.

Your memory is spot on. That scam brought about the thought that the Edition Limintada is limited to the number that can be sold.
skindiver Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 » » » Farmhouse cigars. What is the story n these? I bought the Trinidad farmhouse humidor in Havana sometime after the release of the first 100. Mine is not numbered. I'm not a collector anyway,so I didn't care. The 10 fundadores were good, as all fundadores should be. The 10 Robusto A, however, were absolutely superb, one of the top 5 cigars I've ever smoked.
