Professor Twain Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Great pics, Roman. You are doing a great service by linking people who would like to give something back to these brave, hard working soldiers who face terrible risk every day. Keep the pics coming!
DrAlejandro Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 great pictures man... glad to see the guys were able to take a load off and relax even if it was just for a little while
Freefallguy Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Thanks for sharing the pics Roman. You must be proud, deservedly so, as he serves honorably in a desperate situation. I heard for the first time last night the “Soldier’s Night Before Christmas”. If you can find it, it will bring more than just a tear to your eye and evoke a deeper appreciation from within. I pray peace in the region, and safe passage for your son-in-law.
DocRKS Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 Owing to the kindness of 2 members of FoH (1 in fact is a brand new-bie! here) - I received these great pix from some of our Soldiers in Iraq catching up on some well deserved break time... And what better way to start to relax than by lighting up a SURPRISE cigar donated by someone from back home..... From ANBAR Province - scene of some very bad activity lately: Look what CIGAR SANTA brought today (Thanks DGAR!!!) : 2nd PLT, 3rd Brigade Combat Team Unwinds after returning from a mission outside the wire. Smokes are shared by a 2 Spec 4s, 2 Sgts, 2LT and 1LT.... No matter who the package is addressed to - it is shared across all ranks.... Notice the brown anti-shrapnel padding lining the walls on the right of the guys....The war is never far away - sometimes they just take a break from it when they can.....
