H Upmann Band Change?

A friend of mine just received a box of H Upmann PC's from a very reputable source. The box is fine, but the bands are not the brown bands that are on the No 2 and the like, they are the bands that are on the Sir Winstons and the Coronas. Does anyone know of Habanos S.A. changing the bands?

I don't smoke the PC's so maybe these have been like this for a while now and I'm just not up to date.

Also, forgot to add the box is Nov 05'.

No 2 and Sir Winstons both have the same brown bands for years now.

I have only had a few Sir Winstons and all of them have had the red bands, havent seen any since. Thanks for the info.

I don't know the specifics surrounding an official label switch/update but I do have a box of Upmann PCs that I got from Rob (BNX DIC 05) with the bands like you are referring to.

We are still getting both...but predominantly the new.
