Chicago Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 We threw a Mexican food party last night and I looked up a recipe for Sangria that I would like share. 1 bottle red wine I used 1/2 merlot 1/2 cab 1 lemon cut into wedges 1 lime cut into wedges 2 tablespoons sugar 2 shots (or more!) dark rum, or light if you prefer 1 orange cut into wedges Squeeze all the juices into the wine, add sugar rum and the fruit. Chill over night and enjoy You can also add hot sauce, I guess, but we skipped that part. Serve over ice. Yum! People loved it and it went really fast
skid11 Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Thanks Chicago, Nothing better than a cool Sangria on a hot day. Will try your recipe !
