manny816 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Germany are behind for the first time in the World Cup finals after Roberto Ayala headed home a Juan Roman Riquelme corner in the 49th minute.
Guest mr. snappy Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Aside from the goal, Rob Ayala spent most of the match rolling around on his back, holding one knee, and crying. :crying:
DocRKS Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 » And then missed a penalty kick. What else could he do ----he just heard that while he was away playing soccer/football, Lisa was back at FOH posting her latest jokes and he was trying to locate those long awaited boxes of RyJ Short Churchills en Tubo... How was he to concentrate on penalty kicks...;-) BTW - the Argentine Coach resigned in record time after his team went down to the Host nation.....He said he had taken the team as far as he was able and it was time to move on......Class Move !!!
El Presidente Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 :rotfl: ...Just a normal day for me. Flashes of brilliance mixed with questionable performance ending in eventual disappointment.
