Smokin Bulldog Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 With the recent reviews of Trinidads I was wondering what the other members on the board thought of the vitola. I smoked one tonight sitting on the deck watching a thunderstorm roll north and man I was blown away by this cigar:-D . It does not seem to get as much attention as the Fundadores or the Reyes. Anyways I would like to your thoughts!
Bill Hayes Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I love all the Trinidads. They're really tasty. I think the general concensus is that the flavours are just a little more muted and less pronounced in the coloniales than in the Reyes. I reckon they're still there but take a little more searching for. But that can be a good thing. In the Robusto Extra you have a little more time to find them in journey and they take a little longer to appear, but when they do they are fantastic. I think you need time and patience for all of them. I think the Reyes smokes almost like a petit corona. You can take your time with it and you'll be rewarded with a great range of flavours. :-)

I just didn't get much flavor from them.
