Going to Aruba 1st week Augast

Anyone ever been down there? Havent picked a resort. But we are looking at the Aruba resort, spa and casino ( formerly Wynndum)

That where my brother and sister went to 2 years ago. They said they visited every resort on the island ( its only 4 miles by 20 miles big). Plus they also stayed there. And said that it was the best out of all them.

Any comments are welcome please ;-)

Lisa wont take the 27 hour flight to down under so this is the next thing.

I have a week at La Cabana. We're going from June 27-July 8.

You'll have a good time at the Aruba resort.

As for cigars, the island is full of fakes. You can trust the LCDH in town but it is pricey.

You'll eat like a king too!

My wife and I just went last September. It's beautiful there. There are tons of fakes to watch out for, so stick with the LCDH at the Resorts or Renaissance Mall, I believe its called. (It’s in town) We stayed at the Divi Aruba. We loved it, all inclusive, but the rooms just have the necessities. Have a good trip.....:-D

No matter where we go, I always bring my own. My brother tells me that I have enough cigars to open a shop :-D , so no need to buy cigars there.

Four of us went in April and stayed at La Cabana also. The rooms are just OK but you only sleep in them anyways. In downtown Oranjstead where the ships come in there is a mall with a LCDH but the prices are expensive. As everyone else does I took my own. It's nice to go and look around but I hate getting ripped off.
