I smoked one of these on Monday, not sure how much age was on it as it was gifted to me several months ago.

I was amazed with the flavors this smoke had, it is definately something I could get use to.

My experience with Habanas is very limited and i would like some of your more experienced views on this cigar.

Thanks

Not bad. Medium quality CC. Good scent to them and always seem to draw nice. A nice afternoon smoke. Never had a problem with any I've smoked.

I also enjoy the Fonsecas, however, I have only had the Delecias. Like you mentioned, for the price - it can't be beat. I smoke them when I don't want to pull out a smoke that is more expensive.

I've had the KDT Cadetes and Invictos, and have a No. 1 sitting in the humi awaiting fire. MRN thinks highly of these smokes, and I'm inclined to agree. Mild, but very flavorful, and of course, very cheap too! :-)

Of the Fonseca line, I have only smoked the KDT Cadetes. I really liked the half-dozen or so that I have burned. Mild, but with tons of flavor. I found a nice toasty/nutty aspect to them. I like'em.

Totally agree. The Cosaco is a great morning cigar with a good cup of coffee.

Breat value milder cigars with good complexity. Not for everyone. If you have the time you would probably elevate to Juan Lopez for a higher quality experience.

The reason some people dismiss this cigar is the reason I keep them on hand. I find many occasions when this mild cigar is just right. The sweet, straight tobacco flavor is great for me on lazy Sunday mornings with the news. A good value to boot.

So far these are the ONLY Cuban CIgars that I think are not good at all. Was given a box and ended giveing them to my brother. I smoked 1 of them and it was like smokeing a light ciggerette. THeir was no flavor, or anything for that fact.

If you never smoked cigars before, it would probably taste good . But if you have been smokeing full Cubans for a few years, well I would say dont even think about them.

I'd like to thank everyone for their input, it is appreciated.

Hal, I've only recently began smoking cubans, so I'm not sure if I could fully appreciate a more full bodied smoke.

Prez, which of the Juan Lopez would you recommend?

I had the same experience with the first one out of the box, but I let them rest a little longer and they perked up nicely!
