How do I shrinkdown or remove the ads down the right side of the page?

While I do intend to check out the merchandise and the "deals" it's inconvenient to have them there all the time as it makes viewing and responding to threads a bit of a chore.

Am I crazy? If you want to reply to a thread that has a lot of replys already, you have to scroll all the way to the last reply, than slide the view to the left, before you can see the "reply" button?

This may fall under the "try increasing you monitor resolution" solution.

It must be something on your settings because I can view the adds and view the full message at the same time. I do not even have the bar to slide left or right. I think Van55 posted a question about this a little while back but I can not remember what the results were.

Looks like Colt is just a bit faster on the keyboard than I am and got his resolution post in before I did.

Stogies, that thread was started by Van55 if you wish to revisit it as I think there were some setting adjustments mentioned. I think it was titled "anyone else have this problem"....or something like that.

First step is upgrade from Windows 3.1 to at least Windows 95. You might also want to get a new monitor. You still posting on this???

Thanks, I did a search before I asked, but I really didn't know how to frame the question.

I changed the resolution on the monitor and that did the trick, of course now I need a magnifing glass to read anything.........

Look up in the right corner of the screen. Click on the L next to text size. That should do the trick.
