*it appears to be a hand-operated tobacco rolling board or tobacco-forming tool used by the Dayak peoples of Borneo (Kalimantan, Indonesia). The finished product resembles a cheroot.

Among many Dayak groups, birds,particularly hornbills,held deep spiritual significance. They were viewed as messengers between the human and spirit worlds and symbols of status and protection
