Hi,

I am looking at purchasing the two boxes below from a LCDH in Mexico but the box codes seem a bit off to me. I’m still learning and would appreciate a second set of eyes on these to see if my gut is right or if I’m being overly skeptical. Usually the boxes I see have clear crisp codes but one appears to be faded and the D in DIC looks more like an O to me. Not sure if this is typical or not but a lot of the DIC’s I’ve seen have clear sharp D’s. Appreciate any input!

I’m not an expert but I have had hundreds of genuine boxes with these kinds of date/code stamps. It’s quite common. They are sometimes illegible. It is out of the norm but not at all uncommon. I once bought around 8 boxes of QdO Corpnas Claro from ‘01 that have similar imperfections in the stamps from a 100% legit source.

UAR and OEG are both from the Province of Holguin. The 000066212869 is an Epi 2 and the 000066211208 is a Mag 54. From what I see, they both are good.
