In reference to tubos with a cedar lining…

I’ve been keeping some tubos in my humidor with the caps off for some time now.  The idea that the cedar will be at my humidor humidity so the cigars will have a seamless transition from storage to travel.  Lately I’ve been thinking that I should keep the tubos out of the humidor so the cedar dries out and will “absorb” some of the moisture in the cigar during the few hour to few days stint that they spend in there.  I’ve found dryboxing almost always contributes to a better smoking experience, so perhaps this is a way to take that experience on the road.
