I can't sit by and let Scotch catch all these haymakers from Bam! There's not a drink on Earth that goes better on a cool winter night than a great quality single malt. Over the years you all have gone down the Cognac rabbit hole, then Tequila, and now it seems like Rum. For the record, I think it's awesome because It's introduced myself and I'm sure many others to a whole new world of options out there. But as far as Scotch goes, he'll be back. They may stray, but they always come back. 

All jokes aside, great episode boys. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the Rum! Giz has turned me onto every Rum in my cabinet, and he hasn't steered me wrong yet. I do find with the natural sweetness of the spirit I'll usually only go for a couple pours in a night whereas Scotch I can drink for longer durations. But that's just me. Luckily it's not a zero sum game, they've all got their place and purpose in the rotation.

I too lean into Scotch. @LizardGizmo try a non chill filtered, no colour added, sherry finished scotch at cask or if not a higher ABV than the minimum 40%.
