TheCigarSoldier Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Brick by brick the Lizards are becoming my Father Fans! I feel the same way on a lot of their lines. I've enjoyed the Le Bijou and the Blue line, and to be honest I've only ventured into a few of their core lines. They've either been excellent or awful, never in-between. But hey, maybe My Father is on a good run.. P.S. I'll never forgive CA for the Flor De Las Antillas winning in 2012 over the Cohiba 1966 LE 2011. Shameful! 2

If you haven’t already tried it, I would suggest the La Opluencia. I enjoy My Father as well!
TommySnark Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Pleasantly surprised by the result for Le Bijou - it’s one of the first cigars I tried about five years ago after an extended break from the hobby. I remember it being enjoyable, but not something I felt compelled to return to. I’ll have to give it another go. Unfortunately, the Grahams 20-year didn’t fare as well, which bummed me out - I’m a big fan of tawny ports, and Grahams in particular, and thought it would rate better than an 8. It is still a pretty sweet wine, though, so I can understand why folks not appreciate the pairing. If anyone’s interested, the 30-year, although quite a bit more expensive, is less sweet, incredibly unique, and goes well with a wide variety of cigars.
