Happy New Year everyone! May your cigars burn straight with friends in company.

I put together some highlights of my 2025 journey and amongst these, the one that came up top is the:

H. Upmann No.2 Reserva Cosecha 2010

This cigar eclipsed every single cigar I have smoked in 2025. It has lingered in my mind everyday since the day I smoked it.

The soft flame truly works the best in a controlled environment, and is crucial for gently lighting up this cigar. The first puff and I am on cloud nine. The distinct Upmann cedar wood but sweet, roasted sweet nuts opened up the cigar. The smoke was smooth, like gliding on clouds. No harshness.

The creaminess and the experience of just slowly peeling each flavour back one by one, wow very complex! Sweet berry and on the retrohale a little vanilla and some tinge of coffee. I retrohaled the whole thing. 

Middle up, tobacco builds, introducing earthiness, leather and liquorice.

The burn was excellent until I could no longer hold it.
So satisfied.
