CRC: Monte #4 SPM FEB 25

I know this is still young but I really wanted to try one from the box. Right off the bat the cold draw was very firm, and I was only getting very faint hints of the typical Montecristo profile. Very faint cocoa, with some hay notes and very faint vanilla. The cigar did open up later, but only at about the last third. I probably should have used my perfecdraw but was smoking while doing chores so didn't really want to stop. At last there was a little stronger nuttiness and vanilla with strong earth flavors in the final 3rd, but I'll definitely be letting the remainder of them rest for at least a few years.

These have been one of my favorite smokes. They always burned perfectly and drew great. With the latest box I purchased earlier this year on 24:24, I have had a few of them very tight and could not get them to draw, so I had to trash them, which was very disappointing.
