Eh, I don't have enough of a discerning pallet for a 100 point scale. But I do know what I especially liked this year. Four cigars stood out for complexity and richness of flavors, and exceptionally enjoyable tastes.

- Cohiba Espendidos, circa 2023 - my first ever of this Cohiba vitola and, to date, probably my favorite Cohiba cigar. Vanilla bean, honey, floral, and oak in my tasting notes.

- Trinidad LaTrova, 2021 - I'm already a big fan of the characteristic Trini profile, and this one offered all of the creamy, savory, nutty, and herbal flavors and more.

- Punch 898, 2000 - such an improvement over younger smokes from this box.  Even more delicious than the 2022 Punch Punch I had this year, which is saying a lot.

- Arturo Fuente OpusX Perfecxion X - three years in the humidor didn't diminish at all the intensity and complexity of the cedary, savory, earthy flavors. I realize OpusX doesn't measure up for some smokers here, but this one and others from the original OpusX line with at least a little age on them are in my wheelhouse.

The Quai d'Orsay Imperiales 2022 I had in the Kuwaiti desert blew me away. Serious 95/96 cigar. Many thanks to Tim Scheening!
