03Hemi Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I've shared a few images of my home lounge I started building in the summer, but thought I'd share the whole story. This is my Medieval Cigar Lounge I'm currently working on, my buddies have lounges at their houses, but nothing like mine. I've built everything myself and have been actively purchasing my furniture, art and decor ahead of time so I can hit the ground running when I'm done. There will be a state of the art evacuation system in the ceiling for the smoke and run I'll run an Ozonizer after each smoke to rid the room of the stale smoke smell. My 200+lb. door I built: Finished with my faux stone and aging I completed. That really cool lantern: Completed entrance after aging. Weathering & aging completed for the lounge - Imgur (1).mp4 Inside: My 17th century Rim Lock off a Medieval church in England For scale: Looking down the stairwell from top landing with illuminated cubbies in process, all walls will be the faux stone. Interior will be Medieval 1920's Gentlemens Club in Dark Academia. As you can see, I'm already buying my furnishings and will just cover it and move it from side to side as I finish the room. The flooring will resemble my stairs coming up. Looking up from the bottom landing. Peering through the half wall at the top of the stairs. Room is 28' feet long. All my seating is complete, 1920's leather club seating and purchasing tables and accoutrements now. The walls will be wainscotting on the side and the end wall with the window will be floor to ceiling wall to wall bookcase with a window seat. I have more not pictured, but you get the idea. I welcome comments/criticism and any suggestions. More to come... 2
