I find most other gun collectors are into watches too, but where do you stand on cigars and watches, seems the two go hand-n-glove? Personally, I like to switch to leather in the cooler months.

I agree. They do go together. They both attract a person with the collecting mentality. The search, wait, buy, and take care of and enjoy cycle.

Love watches! Here’s my current collection. Some were gifts, some are just fun, all are loved. And I built the watch box.

Edited because this actually is an older photo and I sold the Rolex to finance my cigar obsession. 😂

Absolutely,

I'm into everything from...

- proper Swiss watches like Mondaine (love their Stop2Go as a quartz option, the gimmick is the second hand completes a rotation in 58 seconds, freezes for 2 seconds, during which the minute hand moves, like Swiss railway clocks do if you've ever seen them irl)
- proper-value Japanese automatics like Seiko
- the odd watch from Aliexpress (like Sugess), they actually do  have some great original and homage-watches with honestly amazing construction for the price. Only downside is getting a Chinese movement repaired if you drop them (speaking from experience) so you better know what movement it is and make sure you can source the parts for the watchmaker.
- and lately I've been loving Spinnaker. Even their homages always have an original twist. Construction is definitely great and their designs are A-plus.

He's custom made red for me too. These are large scale alligator with flank alligator for the lining. Think I'll do a yellow lining next.
