The picture in my head of the guy with  54 mobile phones strapped to his body gave me a chuckle. 

In terms of cigars, if the best that they could do is find a shoebox of cigars coming across that floodzone, they aren't looking very hard 

 

All cases were detected at the Border Gate checkpoint, authorities said. The seven suspects are Macau and mainland residents aged 38 to 64.

In one incident on 23 October, a mainland man allegedly attempted to take approximately 1,344 grams of cigars out of Macau concealed in a shoe box. On 25 October, officers stopped a man whose movements appeared stiff and found 54 used mobile phones strapped to his lower body.

Macau Customs said legal proceedings have been initiated under the External Trade Law.

The guy was just a really big fan of Pokemon Go and was trying to find the nearest Gym.
