Popular Post PirelliCndms Posted May 27, 2025 Popular Post Posted May 27, 2025 My first public review ever so bear with me A friend of mine has been a long time cigar manufacturer and has been running a business called LCDH Customs out of Cuba. Normally I never believe all the "custom Cuban roll BS" but this is the real deal. I wasn't even supposed to have this cigar, I wanted some of his E2's (which are also fantastic) but he ran out of stock when he retired 2 years ago and sent these for the same price out of his personal collection. Being that this is the first Piramides that I have had from his lineup I wasn't expecting it to be fantastic, but good. Boy was I wrong, I have only had a handful of normal Cohiba vitolas and I was not expecting the similarity in flavors' or flavor quality. Thought it might share some similarities but I was not expecting it to be this good. I paired this with a sparkling unflavored water. The age is difficult to determine but from what Ramze said, they used 3-4 year old material and these were rolled in early 2022. Lighting and First third - Immediately on the cold draw I notice a barnyard, hay, and a woody note. The draw was a little tight but not too bad at all. Lighting up the cigar I waited for the whole foot to be lit and took my first draw. This was full of hay, cedar, the "infamous" honey, and some warmer flavors of coco. These flavors maintained thought the first 1/3rd and was a wonderful and medium-full bodied experience. Second Third - The hay started to subside but kept the honey, cedar, coco and added a note of sweet fruit. As I approached the half way and completion of the 2/3 mark somehow the ash was still attached with no attention to maintaining it. With this change in flavors I think it kind of moved into a full bodied experience. Last third - The last third brought even more flavor changes which surprised me. The hay slightly returned but also had the extremely rich flavors of coco, leather, a lot of cedar, and a touch of sweet cream creating a surprisingly semi sweet note on my palette. Conclusion - I was extremely surprised the value that I got out of this cigar. Personally, would smoke this every single day over a banded CoRo. I really enjoyed this cigar and was genuinely surprised at the value and construction of this stick. I wish the draw was a little looser but if that's the only thing to complain about then I am a pretty happy camper. Overall Id score this a 96/100, I don't think I've had my 100/100 cigar yet but this has rivaled anything that I have had that's gotten close. I had a Trini Cabildos and that was right up there, this still beat out the Trini for me. I hope you enjoyed my review and it was great to sit in the yard by the water and take my mind off of my dog situation. Love my FOH! -Ty 16
