A hint of dark strawberry/cherry. The charred crispies you get on your grilled meat on the retrohale. End of First 3rd: This is wild. The dark cocoa is there but lighter. Seared steak, no seasoning in clean tallow balancing out the dark cocoa. I keep getting notes of dark red berries too every so often. Great tasting tobacco. Amazing start. Medium in strength. End of Second 3rd: A little sweet and savory bomb. The tallow seared steak has ramped up a notch with a delicious creamy chocolate black mole sauce and I’m getting the slight crispy edges more. Incredibly smooth. Only getting slight pepper with chocolate on the retrohale. Medium+ in strength. End of Final 3rd: The steak is finished and now I’m just eating charred crispy bits leftover with lots of not very spiced rich black mole being the main tone. Medium+ building to just a tad under full in strength. Nub/pipe-worthy: Yes definitely going to see where it goes. Incredible how in the nub stage the flavors built even more of a less spiced rich black mole with charred crispy meat undertones. Then there was a random cherry hit then it went to full strength. For the pipe tomorrow, as I’m satisfied tonight. Final thoughts: And that cigar my friends is a cigar to have with or after a steak. Savory and a tad bit sweet. The grilled meat with not very spiced at all, rich black mole was great. I thought it was going to be pretty much the same the whole cigar but what a crescendo cigar it was. Flavor and strength both built wonderfully. I’m sure many cigars can be great after steak, this one seems destined for it. Saka is doing things right. I’m satisfied with this one, glad I have a few boxes. Time: 1hr 1min Score: 96/100 9
SteveA Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Great review. The cigar sounds fantastic. I've only had the RML Beef Stick, but enjoyed it as well. Will pick this one up the next time I have chance. 1

Let me know what ya think of this one in comparison when ya get the chance. After this one the others now sound more appealing to try.

Ishmael 🤣 I am usually more at sea than at home but I do like grilling in both spots. Some years I live on the boat more than at home it just depends on the year, but no I have a land home as well 😆. Yeah lots of us fishermen grill at home and on the boat, especially in the summer. It was awesome this winter, my cousin even had a Traeger on his boat up in Dutch.
