JohnInCleveland Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Great episode, as always. I meant to give you guys a friendly suggestion from last week, I was listening to the year in review and I must’ve missed it the first time around but give me some more Steve Saka. Talk about a personality, he has an incredible wealth of knowledge about tobacco, and many years ago stopped caring about what anyone thinks. Such an engaging personality, breath of fresh air. Not many of us get to a point in our career where we’re afforded to do things on our terms, I tip my cap to him. I hate “year in review” type formats for podcasts generally but it was very clear you guys put effort into curating it so it wasn’t just a mish mash. The amount of work you do for the fans doesn’t go unnoticed, thank you. 3 1

We really enjoyed his brutal honesty, even in an impromptu conversation like it was. Definitely going to have him back in 2025 (among many others). Thanks for the kind words on Best Of ‘24 - it is a mountain of work each year to try to make it cohesive and interesting (which I am constantly questioning myself on as I build it and for weeks after). To hear and feel the appreciation like we do is like oxygen for me, so thank you for this and thanks to everyone who has shared similar words! We are very lucky to have Lizard Nation with us each week. 5
