My beer taste buds flipped again. Does this ever happen to you?

I agreed to meet a client at a bar to talk work stuff and he insisted having a drink together. Screw it, I'll have a beer. I didn't know what to pick so I just randomly chose a bottle of Scrimshaw. They brought a bottle over to our table with a chilled glass. I did the proper pour and oh my god.. during the first sip I wanted to gulp it down like it was an ice cold refreshing Gatorade after a marathon. I don't know what triggered my brain to love it so much, but I ordered a second one real quick.

This was a similar instance to the time I enjoyed an IPA for the first time (hated it before) and became hooked on them for like a year. It was an ice cold Lagunitas on draft at a bar. It tasted so refreshing. I tasted some kind of lime in there. But that feeling is gone now and back to being grossed by them. Maybe I'll try again sometime soon.

Happens to me pretty regularly. Barrel aged, hazy IPA, cheap beer, stouts - I burn out and rotate into something else. Scrimshaw is a great beer.
