Popular Post loose_axle Posted October 29, 2024 Popular Post Posted October 29, 2024 Trying out the Sancho Panza El Rey - picked up a few singles in the local LCDH. I didn't get a chance to have a look at the box but I presume it's 2023. Draw was perfect. Best I've had in a lancero in a while. The first inch there was a lot of vegetal notes, like sipping on a fine anejo tequila. After that the cigar settled down. It was pretty much notes of salted milk chocolate for the first half followed by a second with the salt remaining, coffee replacing chocolate and cream and sugared savoiardi biscuit kicking in. Quite a sweet mild cigar flavour wise, probably about medium in strength. It was enjoyable and I'm glad I got to try it but it's not something I'd get a box of. I'll be curious to see whether it ages well, it didn't taste like something that would but there was a hidden strength to it. At its current evolution it's something I'd smoke in the morning than after lunch/ dinner. 13

loose_axle Posted October 29, 2024 Author Posted October 29, 2024 My pleasure, I’m a bit the same, want to find reviews on LE and regionals before I try. 1
