"I am going to miss you in Phuket by a few days as I am in Manila with some friends. Can you tell me of any good to really good Philippine cigars? I know they are serious producers so surely there must be some local gems?"

 

Off the cuff my answer is : "No there are not" 

I can't ever recall smoking a good Philippine cigar, but it has been 10 years since I had given up trying.
