"Stephen Doggett says the bed bug epidemic is horrifying and costly for all levels of the accommodation industry, from backpacker hostels to five-star hotels." -If a girl cannot leave infestation-free from a 5 star hotel, what kind of chance would she be taking with this two dollar parade: Apparently scratched Nanos are not our only concern these days: "bug infestations in the United States have caused lawsuits" "new environmentally friendly practices such as insect baits, had no effect on bed bugs" -How about one that's not so friendly? And the Harvard solution for all those who sleep in a bed: [link]http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/bedbugs[/link] "Because several different kinds of insects resemble bed bugs, specimens should be carefully compared with good reference images (such as those in this document) to confirm their identity. If any questions remain regarding the identity of your samples, then submit them to a competent entomologist for evaluation (see information below)." -Now after a night of cocktails and Macallan, I not only have to seek out the metal Q-tip, but I have to find some insect freak who could very easily name the bug, but lend no help in naming the girl who just left?

Be carefull. ;-) Yup - I remember it on the news, right after the "Which breakfast cereal may be causing your family to bleed rectally? We'll have that and more in just a minute..."
Loki Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 I had also read somewhere that if your pillow is more than 2 years old 10% of its weight comes from dead dust mites that graze on your shead skin:surprised:

Fatshotbud Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 » I was on vac. this past Nov. in New York city and I know that was big news » (bed bugs) in the city. Be carefull. ;-) The digs I have to endure with my work are most times too scarey for a respectable bed bug to hang out at. I have gone without sleeping two or three days straight rather than lay on the bedding at some locations. Most recent occasion left three people with spider bites. Or how about fleas they bring out some sweet dreams..... Sorry but bed bugs bring them on.
