Popular Post Meklown Posted September 10, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 10, 2023 Review on a pleasant Sunday evening. We've had a heatwave in London for the past week which should be coming to an end, bringing uncharacteristically hot weather to a September week. I believe this is the second year the n4s have been in the portfolio. Loved the original pilot run, so bought it again this time. My first stick was a complete shock; it was so different to what I tasted previously that I didn't know what to think of it. Took me a little while to get used to it but now that I have, I'm liking it as well! First thing to point out is that the construction has been consistently very good. All of them, including this one, has been tightly packed but the draw is really smooth. The cold draw has some barnyard, slight sweetness. On lighting, it's caramel milk chocolate. Coffee bean. Barnyard. Good depth and complexity but most importantly, balance. Sweet, chocolate, hints of coffee. Progressing through, there isn't a lot of flavour changes. The body ramps up gradually. The sweetness stays but the coffee bitterness rises to meet it. Always a backdrop of chocolate, but it never takes over. That differentiates it the most from the previous n4 where the dark chocolate was always the main theme. Overall, very good stick. Simple, balanced goodness consistently over and over again. 84/100 every time (Image upload issues, will try again later) (Still not working.. Any advice what does error code 200 mean?) 4 2
