It's vacation time, fellas and I am going to Portugal from 11 to 21 then Paris from 21 to 26. Any tips, recommendation, Cigar Retailers/Lounges in the area?

Every help is deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Seems you and I will have some Paris overlap. Lots recommended A la Civette when I asked. Think I am gonna hit Casa Pelletier for a sitdown cigar on the patio when I am there.

La Civette is perfect as a tourist (it is supposed to be the oldest tabacco shop in Paris), but not for cuban aficionados. Their stock is usually poor, because they are well known. Same applies to Casa Pelletier, you should try other less well known shops and you might get lucky.

Appreciate the heads up. I just wanted to have a drink at Casa Pelletier as I heard the patio was nice. I've personally given up on trying to find stock while I am on the trip. Would love suggestions for lounges you think are better and/or shops you like.

We can try to smoke a cigar in a lounge if the dates works for you.

Was in Portugal in June (Lisbon and Porto).

Casa Havaneza in Baixa had a decent selection and fair prices given the environment- picked up a box of RA No3 and HUHC tin. Not much of a lounge, but any cafe in Lisbon with outdoor seating is ok with cigars.

The LCDH in Porto has a smaller humidor, but they had a good stock when I visited. Same as in Lisbon, not much of a lounge but there were some folks enjoying a cigar while I was there.

I hope you have better luck finding the Portugal exclusives as there were none and both shops weren't sure if they'd be back in stock.

Good luck and have fun- Portgual is a great place to visit.  If you don't have it on your agenda, I'd highly recommend spending a day (or two) in Sintra; it's gorgeous and unlike anywhere that I've been.

Enjoy your vacation! Did you plan the trip by yourself or is it a vacation planned by the tourist agent?  We are planning a long vacation in October and still didn't decide which company to travel with. Had some doubts on is edreams legit or not, but found the correct answer here. None of my friends traveled with them before, so i had no-one to ask for an advice or.and review of their services.

Lounge:

Historical place : Le Cubana café (but you will smell tabacco for hours after staying there, their extraction system is rather inefiicient

Casa pelletier is fine for a drink+cigar

You can also try the gentlemen 1919, a speakeasy (call them to book if you want a seat after 18h or during weekends) or  Le Musset (there is a fee to access the smoking rom, but it is balanced by the pretty cheap cocktails).
