Anyone tied the Sept. 2005 release of G.T.Stagg? I got mine in October and just tried it last night. Whew! This year it came in at 141.2 proof! Started out on the rocks but had to add a little water. Once down a bit the flavors really came out. At 15 yrs. in oak it's not overly caramel tasting. It's diffenetly a mouthfull. I got alittle honey on the end and it's about a 2 minute finish. Last year they had 2 releaseses they were 129 proof in the fall, the spring was 131. I think this release is by far to my liking It can handle a huge smoke!

Anyone tried it?

I will now. I have to order it as it doesn't seem to be sold in NJ.
