Popular Post Silverstix Posted July 4, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 4, 2022 Decided to try something different yesterday and lit up this Davidoff Yamasa that I picked up from my local B&M a couple months ago. This was a great change of pace that obviously brought a fullness we don’t see much in the Cuban world. A nice amount of spice too, noticeable but not overpowering at all. About 1/2” into it and it takes on a very very creamy profile. Just smooth as hell. Full flavors screaming at full volume though. Little bit of a sourness in the background that I’m not a fan of, like a mineral note. But this is really easy to smoke. Ends the same way with a smooth creamy smoke that had plenty going on in the flavor department. Creamy, spice, nuts, citrus, malt, earth. Nice to smoke something different even if it’s not always my first choice. 93/100 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 12
JLH Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Thanks for the write up. The Yamasa is far from a weekly smoke but it is great to have in the humidor. Always a unique expirience. Jason
