Popular Post havanaclub Posted March 7, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 7, 2021 I generally consider any cigar over 5.5 inches especially with a larger ring gauge to be a “longer” cigar. Many of these cigars for me take a good 1.5 hrs to smoke. Haven’t had a Sig VI in a little while so I decided to try my second from a 10ct box. Paired with some 1792 Bottled in Bond. The draw was perfect, after using my trusty punch. 1st: started off real slow unfortunately as it seemed very light in body with muddled flavours. After about 10 mins it opened up and I was relieved with sweet hay and coffee notes. 2nd: now medium, the Siglo VI really started to perform. Honey, citrus, mocha with a nice creamy texture. 3rd: more sweet hay, the citrus started to fade and was picking up more of a milk coffee, and grass. There was a hint of a butter texture, which I think will come with more time down. This sample is relatively young, as I have found Cohiba really shines after 4-5 years. The construction was outstanding, never requiring any touch ups, with a razor sharp burn. Burn time was 1 hour 40 mins. Rated 95. I think some more time down will smooth out the initial opening and bring out more flavours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 15
